Briefing the media in Pretoria, Gigaba said 188,702 Lesotho nationals had entered the country, while 173,043 had departed SA.He attributed this to Lesotho's close proximity to South Africa.
Other top arrivals and departures included Zimbabweans, Mozambicans, Swazis and Batswana.
Arrivals from the United States totalled 44,512.
"At the moment we are really happy about the trends we are seeing," he said.
